Storico

Il 15 aprile 2007, AQ Interactive, Inc. annuncia l'acquisizione di XSEED Games, con il trasferimento delle azioni primagiugno 2007. L'accordo è stato firmato24 aprile 2007 e il trasferimento della quota è stato completato il 26 giugno 2007. Il9 maggio 2008, XSEED Games ha annunciato l'intenzione di collaborare con Marvelous Entertainment (MMV) per co-pubblicare i loro giochi in Nord America. All'E3 2008 , MMV USA e XSEED Games hanno individuato i giochi che sarebbero stati co-rilasciati in base all'accordo ei giochi che XSEED avrebbe pubblicare separatamente.

Il 1 °  aprile 2009, AQ Interactive ha annunciato un aumento della sua quota di Xseed Games dal 55% al 90% il giorno dell'annuncio. Il14 aprile 2010, XSEED Games ha annunciato la sua partnership con lo sviluppatore giapponese Nihon Falcom per la licenza nordamericana e il rilascio di Ys Seven , Ys: The Oath in Felghana , Ys I & II Chronicles e The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky per PlayStation Portable nel Nord America.
