Orthogoniosaurus matleyi è una sorta fuori di dinosauri teropodi del tardo Cretaceo trovano in Jabalpur in India . La specie tipo , Orthogoniosaurus matleyi , è stata nominata e descritta da HC Das-Gupta nel 1931.
Essendo il primo teropode della formazione Lameta , a volte è stato usato come sinonimo di altri membri di questo sottordine come Indosaurus e Indosuchus . Tuttavia, essendo un taxon basato su un singolo dente , questo fu successivamente scoraggiato.
Il genere è considerato nomen dubium da alcuni paleontologi.
Un altro taxon a base di denti, “Massospondylus” rawesi , datato al tardo Triassico , è talvolta associato al genere, anche se questa rimane un'ipotesi.
