Erik Estrada è un attore e produttore portoricano americano Ancestry nato il 16 marzo 1949 a New York . Dal 1977 al 1983 ha interpretato il ruolo di Francis Llewelyn "Frank" Poncherello, uno dei due protagonisti della serie televisiva CHiPs .
Il 2 luglio 2016, quello che era un simbolo della polizia motociclistica in televisione alla fine degli anni '70 si infila una divisa molto reale: è entrato, all'età di 67 anni, nel dipartimento di polizia della città di Saint Anthony ( Idaho , Stati Uniti).
