Il Bourbon Trail è un ultra-trail di oltre 110 km di lunghezza e oltre 6.400 m di dislivello . Il semi-Raid è stato rinominato nel 2010 durante la sua 9 ° edizione. Il Bourbon Trail attraversa i tre circhi dell'isola di Reunion partendo da Cilaos e terminando a Saint-Denis , la capitale dell'isola. Si svolge in ottobre in parallelo con il suo fratello maggiore, la “Diagonale des Fous”, il Grand Raid e la sua sorellina La Mascareignes .
Nel 2016 e nel 2017 è entrato a far parte dell'Ultra-Trail World Tour .
