Ryan Garbutt (nato il12 agosto 1985a Winnipeg , Manitoba , Canada ) è un giocatore professionista canadese di hockey su ghiaccio . Gioca come ala sinistra .
Biografia
Dopo aver giocato per i Winnipeg Blues della Manitoba Junior Hockey League , è andato a giocare per la squadra di hockey Bears of Brown University per quattro stagioni. Non arruolato nella National Hockey League , ha giocato la sua prima stagione da professionista nel 2009-2010 con i Corpus Christi IceRays della Central Hockey League .
La stagione successiva , ha giocato per i Gwinnett Gladiators nella ECHL e poi i Chicago Wolves nella American Hockey League . Nelluglio 2011, firma un contratto con i Dallas Stars della NHL. Ha giocato la maggior parte della stagione 2011-2012 con i Texas Stars , club scolastico di Dallas nell'AHL. Ha giocato la sua prima partita di NHL18 febbraio 2012contro i Phoenix Coyote .
Il 10 luglio 2015, è scambiato con Trevor Daley ai Chicago Blackhawks per Stephen Johns e Patrick Sharp .
Il 21 gennaio 2016, è stato ceduto agli Anaheim Ducks in cambio di Jiří Sekáč .
