Phonogram o Phonogram Records è stata fondata nel 1962, come joint venture tra Philips Records e Deutsche Grammophon . Nel 1972, Phonogram si è fusa con Polydor Records per dare vita a Polygram .
Negli Stati Uniti , gli artisti che hanno firmato con Phonogram vengono solitamente distribuiti tramite Mercury Records . In alcuni paesi d' Europa , sono distribuiti da Vertigo Records .
