Biografia
Annemarie Verstappen partecipa alle Olimpiadi estive del 1984 a Los Angeles ; è medaglia d'argento nel 4x100 metri stile libero con Conny van Bentum , Elles Voskes e Desi Reijers, nonché medaglia di bronzo nei 100 e 200 metri stile libero ed è arrivata quarta nella farfalla 100 metri.
È la madre del calciatore Vincent Janssen .
